Imagine
is a project that came about by supernatural intervention. Four gifted
solo artists combining their passion, their talent, their power...just
imagine! Accomplished musicians Leon Ferreira, Mervis, Freddie Wessels
and Raymond Cilliers have been collaborating, spending much time in
studio and rehearsals to make this dream come true. Each individual ads
more colour to the project, with their unique voices and diverse
ministries.
Born in Virginia, Cape Town, Johannesburg and
Pretoria they didn't come together by chance...but it was divine
appointment that brought them together. A description of the Imagine
Project by Leon Ferreira: "It is the coming together of four totally
unique artists, joining in song whilst keeping their identities as solo
performers. The result is simply mind-blowing and a bit of a miracle,
if you ask me."
Imagine is a breath of fresh air, inspiring
many. Their versatility is captivating and will draw interest from any
audience. Driven by their creativity these four men are bound to impact
everyone who has the privilege to spend time with them on and off
stage. They have performed all over South Africa and abroad in Namibia,
USA, UK, Cambodia, Bahamas, Korea and China. Their sales exceed 270000
units, pretty impressive huh!
The title track "Who Am I" is a
real chart topper, other popular songs like "Draw Me Close" and " I
Can Only Imagine" also feature on the album. The production is
definitely of international quality and one of the best albums produced
in South Africa to date. Each song takes you on a journey of
breathtaking harmonies and brilliant vocal performing.
