Choose Life is Raymond Cilliers' 10th album to date and has a strong message of encouragement and hope for people across the globe. Raymond chose the title based on Deuteronomy 30:19-20 and he believes that the message of choosing life and the truth of the gospel is more relevant today than ever before. "People are seeking the truth. Jesus told us that he is the way, the truth and the life, that's basically my advice, everyday, choose life... choose Jesus!"

Raymond wrote several of his own songs for this album, some with producer and dear friend, Danny Antill. He also had the privilege of spending some time with Israel Houghton and gained great insight on his own song writing abilities from this. "When speaking to Israel about writing songs, I said to him that it is easy to write when you are inspired. He looked at me and smiled, 'but you're not always inspired are you?' His advice was simply this: 'Raymond, as long as I am in the word, I write songs.' It was like the penny just dropped. The answer was in front of me all along but I just needed it to be verbalized."
