Cor Uys has dedicated the last 22 years of his life using his talent to glorify God. As an artist, he appeals to both adults and children alike and is not afraid to branch into new, exciting ministry areas. He has been obedient to God's call on his life as an ambassador for Christ.

In church halls, schools and arts festivals, children have grown to love him and his wife, Letitia, as the characters Oom Karoolus and Lente. Cor and Letitia continue to partner with Brettian Productions to produce quality children's CDs and DVDs. They were recently awarded a Gold Status Award for DVD sales in excess of 10 000 units for Oom Karoolus en Lente se Jesus Kinderliedjies.   Since this 2008 achievement, they have released a further two DVD/CD Combo's in both English and Afrikaans. 

As much as Cor loves this part of his ministry, his work doesn't only reach children. Cor has released numerous praise and worship, collaborating with other Christian artists. Titles include Cor Uys Sing 80 van die Bekendste Lofprysing en Aanbiddingsliedere Vol 1 & 2, 80 Favourite Praise and Worship Songs with Cor Uys and Cor Uys sing 80 Afrikaanse Treffers.

Cor's family have always been very involved in his ministry. Their two children have always traveled along with them around South Africa, helping wherever they could. Although both are now finished with school, Corrie, their son, is still active in designing covers, running their website and working on the TV program production. Cor and Letitia record radio programs that are broadcast weekly on stations including RSG, Radio Tygerberg, Radio Lichtenberg and many more.

When asked what his favourite place to visit is, without hesitating, Cor answers "Home! There is no better place than that!" South Africa could do with more committed and talented artists like Cor. His dedication to taking the word into the homes of families across the country is an inspiration for us all!
