Brettian Productions are proud to Announce that Oom Karoolus and Lente have sold 10 000 copies of their latest DVD, Oom Karoolus en Lente se Jesus Kinderliedjies. Oom Karoolus and his 5-year old puppet friend Lente, are thrilled at the news!

With 4 DVD Titles, 7 CD Productions and 1 PC Game under their belts, Cor and his puppet master wife, Letitia, are no strangers to the South African Public. They have been capturing the hearts of children and adults alike for 21 years this year. On a yearly basis they perform at South African Arts Festivals including the KKNK, Aardklop and Innibos.

While they are not on the road performing in schools, camps and churches, they find the time to record their Radio Programs which are broadcast on a weekly basis on RSG (Storietyd) and various Community radio stations such as Radio Tygerberg, Radio Namakwaland, Radio Kingfisher, Radio Lichtenberg and Radio Pulpit (Maranathaland). In addition to this, they have a successful children's club where they send out a monthly packages to their members. One month members receive a CD and the next, a DVD of stories and songs.

Cor and Letitia have successfully raised two of their own children. Their oldest, Corrie Uys is involved in the graphic design of their product as well filming and editing their new TV show - Oom Karoolus en Lente on Kruiskyk. They are currently finalists in the SONDAG VONK Afrikaans Musiek Toekennings in the category Beste Kinderalbum van die Jaar.  Cor Uys has enjoyed success as a gospel artist, winning the AKTV Lier award in 2003 for "80 van die bekendste lofprysing- en aanbiddingsliedere." Oom Karoolus and Lente have been finalists on numerous occasions.

This year Oom Karoolus & Lente are adding two new DVD's to their repertoire. Oom Karoolus and Lente Sing 50 Praise Songs and Weer Baie Jesus liedjies. The pair have become a great part of many children's lives and one could say they have a special place in our Afrikaans, educational heritage. Fueled by a passion for the children of our nation, Oom Karoolus and Lente continue to brighten all the lives that they touch
