Nu Creation Pays Tribute to Gospel Greats

What do you get when you combine songs from two of the biggest gospel legends of their time with a talented trio from a quaint fishing village in Windhoek? You get A TRIBUTE TO JIM REEVES AND ELVIS PRESLEY with a difference that overcomes age, race and nationality. Add to that original arrangements and some time in a recording studio and you have a winner!

NU CREATION started as three friends with passion for music and spreading the gospel with their voices. 10 years later, they signed their very first record deal with Brettian Productions. Recording on the album started in early 2010. Producer Danny Antill had this to say, "Working with Nu Creation was a humbling experience. Every note that each member sings comes from a special place within and their passion for Christ comes out in every song. I know this album will change their lives and the lives of so any others."

Three weeks after forming in 1999, Nu Creation won the National Male Choir Competition in Namibia, a title they held for 4 consecutive years.As upstanding members of the community, the performed at every wedding, funeral, birthday party and church service that they could and in 2002 recorded their first self funded album. The trio gained respect not only from their hometown, but from the whole of Namibia.

Nu Creation faced many challenges along the way, juggling day jobs and performing regularly on weekends and evenings is no easy task but God honored their hard work. Nu Creation is Joe Blom, Vivian Molauly and Johnny Davids (well known Afrikaans radio presenter for RSG) In 2003 Johnny and Vivian took part in kykNET's reality singing show, ZING, which they went on to win. This opened doors for them to travel in SA and the UK with artists such as Steve Hofmeyr, Dozi, Nianel and many more.
