It's finally here and it's pulsing through South African Christians speakers at full force! It's the brainchild of Johan "Freaksyler" de Kock! Anyone who said praise and worship was boring should definitely take a listen to the latest Euro Dance style, praise CD - Pounding Praise. 12 regular praise and worship tracks like the Casting Crown's hit LIFE SONG and Chris Tomlin's How Great Is Our God have been mixed up HI NRG Dance that stand up against the secular world's best sounds. Members Johan de Kock and Riaan Smit had this goal in mind: "We want to get the full on 'clubber'interested in something that normally would never cross his path!"  

Every since he cam remember, Johan has had a passion for music. He grew up on the sounds of Classic Rock, Country & Western, gospel and even Middle Eastern music. Choosing which genre to follow was not simple, like most teenagers, Johan had to find something that he loved and his parents approved of. Musically it came in the form of the alluring sounds of Derek the Bandit- Richardson's World of Dance, a weekly radio show featuring the latest in Electronic Dance music.

Since then Johan has been producing music under various guises including Heavens Avenue (Re-Energise)/Neway North/Jaedon Decay and DJ Fr3kst9ler (Godly Thunder Praise Volume 1 and 2) as well as turning the knobs behind the scenes for some of South Africa's biggest names in Pop music. Johan only recently teamed up with long time friend and fellow musician Riaan Smit, (usually seen pounding out the rhythms behind one of South Africa's favorite Rock bands to produce Pounding Praise, the likes of which have not yet been seen.

Pounding Praise will take the Christian music market by storm! There is no doubt about that. This November, Johan will be launching his very own label called Pulserusher Media, focusing on all forms of electronica... and releasing tracks digitally on a weekly basis.
